FDP on Preparing Future Managers to Tackle Emerging AI-Driven Scenario held at SOA
The critical role of faculty in preparing future managers to navigate emerging risks and opportunities presented by AI technologies was stressed at an International Faculty Development Program (FDP) held recently at the Institute of Business and Computer Studies (IBCS), faculty of management sciences of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University (SOA) here.
Ms. Ipsita Pradhan, Head of Enterprise Risk Banking, Financial Services Leader and Risk and Compliance Expert, Canara Bank, UK, was the resource person for the FDP.
Ms. Pradhan, who works closely with the Chief Executive, Board Risk Committee and regulatory bodies to ensure international risk management standards, delivered an insightful lecture shedding light on how AI was reshaping the risk management landscape across industries.
She discussed real world case studies and provided actionable strategies for managing AI-related risks effectively.
The program was inaugurated by Prof. Bibhuti Bhushan Pradhan, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Registrar of SOA, who highlighted the growing importance of proactive risk management in a rapidly evolving AI-driven environment.
The inaugural keynote addresses were delivered by Prof. Ayasa Kanta Mohanty, Dean of IBCS and Prof. Manoranjan Dash, Associate Dean.
The FDP was coordinated by Dr. Bibhuti Bhushan Mishra, Associate Professor and Dr. Preeti Y. Shadangi, Assistant Professor of IBCS. Dr. Dhruti Sundar Sahoo, Associate Professor proposed the vote of thanks.
