ITER, SOA ORGANISES 3rd International Conference on Power, Signal and IT

Topics pertaining to cutting edge research and innovations concerning Power Systems and Smart Grids, Single Processing and Machine Learning and future technologies figured at the three-day 3rd International Conference on Advances in Power, Signal and Information Technology 2025 (APSIT-2025) held at the Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), faculty of engineering of SOA Deemed to be University here.

The conference was technically sponsored by Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Bhubaneswar section and Kolkata section, IEEE Power and Energy Society and IEEE Industry Application Society (IAS).

The conference, held between May 23 and 25, received over 620 paper submissions from across the world of which 140 (22 per cent) high quality papers were accepted after a rigorous peer review process.

Around 15 per cent of the papers presented were received from countries including the USA, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Bangladesh, Mauritius, Indonesia, The Philippines and Thailand.

Prof. (Dr.) N.P.Padhy, Director of the Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, was the chief guest at the inaugural session which was also addressed by Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda, SOA Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Subhransu Samantaray, Professor at IIT Bhubaneswar and Founder Chair, IEEE Bhubaneswar Section, Mr. M.K. Badapanda from the Department of Atomic Energy and Prof. Pradip Kumar Sahu, Dean of ITER.

Prof. Manohar Mishra, Convenor and Dr. Amaresh Gantayet, Organising Secretary of the event, conducted the proceedings.
